Japan has long held a distinguished place in speech synthesis research, contributing some of the field's most influential work and cultivating researchers who compete at the highest international level. Centered on this community, we are building a team to be recognized as one of the world's foremost authorities in speech synthesis — with the finest Japanese speech synthesis ever created as a natural milestone along the way.
At the same time, Japan's entertainment sector — anime foremost among it — is emerging as a core industry with the potential to rival automobiles. Speech synthesis is uniquely suited to this domain: dubbing and localization can be automated, carrying Japan's original works to the world and strengthening the nation itself. The infrastructure for this future must be built by a Japanese company, not a foreign one. We are here to compete with the largest global players, and to lead from the very front.

After graduating from Keio University, worked at a major trading company and its spin-out VC. Founded Net Marketing Inc. in 2004, operating the matchmaking service "Omiai." Listed on the TSE First Section in 2019; sold the company through a tender offer by Bain Capital in 2022. Currently an active angel investor.
Former Senior Partner at Roland Berger (Tokyo, Singapore, Shanghai). Served as outside director of Net Marketing Inc., senior executive officer of FOOD & LIFE COMPANIES, director of Akindo Sushiro, and CEO of FOOD & LIFE INNOVATIONS. Currently Senior Managing Director at Suzette Holdings and angel investor.
After graduating from Waseda University, joined Recruit. His tower-management game "The Tower" became a worldwide hit, licensed overseas as SimTower, and won Best Strategy Game of the Year from the U.S. publishers association. Later created "Seaman," the best-selling Dreamcast title and a social phenomenon in Japan.
